ABOUT ME:
I am a business and growth-focused creative leader and entrepreneur with a diverse background in advertising, design, tech, media and sales. I'm driven to grow products, companies, businesses and most importantly, people through my 14 years of experience in the creative and marketing space.
I’ve been fortunate to have a fulfilling career but it took a lot of self-awareness and eliminating distractions in order to design the trajectory and narrative of my choice.
I am very career-driven, to the point where it’s a huge part of my identity, so I sympathize when people are frustrated, misguided or flat out miserable in their careers. I want them to see the positive in every experience and help translate that into a meaningful next step.

“Yvonne was, without a doubt, the best mentor that I have worked with in my career. She helped me productively brainstorm and offered astute organizational recommendations to help bring my ideas together. My confidence in her support, professional opinion, instincts and leadership is unflappable. In addition to being a superlative designer and strategist, she is a wonderful mentor and leader who elevates everyone around her.” - Rian Rooney, Urban Planning and Design at Harvard University
“Yvonne has always given me thoughtful and strategic career advice before I was even fully on the job market. She has a way of helping you stay ambitious yet grounded while navigating your way through Corporate America™️ to help you rise the ranks without hating yourself at the end. She will help you see things in a different perspective in order to motivate you to make it happen. Yvonne today, Yvonne tomorrow, Yvonne forever.” - Fabiola Lara, Senior Social Editor at Pop Sugar
“Yvonne helped me build my creative portfolio and resume. The combination of her diverse background and strategic thinking was extremely valuable in helping me navigate my approach to job hunting. She was able to give me direct and constructive feedback on cover letters and resumes, while also offering support and advice along the way. She's business savvy and approaches each task through a uniquely creative lens, which helped shape my own approach to creative problem-solving. On top of that, she's absolutely hilarious and always makes herself available.” - Joanna Rozansky, Director, Branded Partnerships at Cheddar Inc.

Thank you for scrolling down this far. Here are some tips that helped me throughout my career.
Save as much money as possible and never live above your means. This takes the “I might get fired” fear out of your head and lets you focus on the job at hand, hone your strengths, develop your weaknesses and figure out if your current role is right for you.
If you want to do something new or different, TELL EVERYONE. This keeps you accountable and helps you follow through.
What you’re passionate about and what you’re good at aren’t always mutually exclusive. Figure out what you’re actually good at and make that your passion.
The best opportunity seldom looks that way upon first glance. Think about things that really matter to you. Not what society, status or your peers expect from you.
Always pay it forward. Ask people for help. Offer people help. Help people when they ask. This is where the 70% comes into play.
A “career change” might feel like a complete 180 but it isn’t. Your skills, expertise, knowledge will carry over. You just gotta know how to apply it in a way that makes it relevant for your next adventure.
